Ultrafast THz multilayer thickness imaging

Together with our collaboration partner, the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITWM), we have published a new paper on terahertz imaging: We demonstrate that layer thicknesses in the range of 20-120 µm can be measured and evaluated at a pixel rate of 1600 Hz. To the best of our knowledge, this represents the fastest terahertz-based multi-layer measurement performed to-date.

Calibration of BlowerDoor Fans

The calibrations are conducted by an accredited lab and based on their traceability to national standards (EN 17025) provide maximum accuracy. Per flow-ring (open fan and rings A-E or 1-4), the calibration includes testing three values each in the lower, mid-level and upper flow-rate measuring range in a chamber test stand at a pressure differential of 50 Pa. The manufacturer recommends the calibration of BlowerDoor fans every four years.
