ZES ZIMMER at the Metrology Days Conference 2023

MTG at the 29th International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV29) from 9 to 13 July 2023 at the Hilton Prague hotel
Together with its long-standing partner Sinus Messtechnik GmbH, MTG actively participated as exhibitor at the ICSV29 congress exhibition of noise and vibration control technologies, organised by the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration and the Society of Acoustic. The Sensor Shenzhen Expo from March 29 to 31, 2023 was an important possibility for showcasing the latest developments in the sensor industry for companies and investors interested in the latest sensor technologies. Together with MTG's partner Shanghai Szon Mechanical & Electrical Technology Co. Ultrafast THz multilayer thickness imaging
Together with our collaboration partner, the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITWM), we have published a new paper on terahertz imaging: We demonstrate that layer thicknesses in the range of 20-120 µm can be measured and evaluated at a pixel rate of 1600 Hz. To the best of our knowledge, this represents the fastest terahertz-based multi-layer measurement performed to-date.

Reliable PCB Inspection with AT's IRSX Smart Infrared Camera
With the help of the IRSX smart infrared camera, AT makes it possible to detect even the smallest component defects by the thermal signature they produce, which is a great benefit especially when inspecting printed circuit boards. How to correctly perform a BlowerDoor measurement in windy conditions?
Air flows due to wind are irregular and cause pressure fluctuations on the building. Overpressure occurs on the side of the building exposed to the wind, while suction occurs on the side away from the wind. These fluctuations also influence the BlowerDoor measurement.
