Gas sampling is critical for data collection in process control, emission monitoring, and process consistency verification. This is where the red-y compact 2 from Vögtlin comes into play, as it is equipped with an optional integrated alarm module. The integrated needle valve allows the user to easily set the desired sampling rate (e.g. 100 mln/min). The red-y compact 2 is the heart of a compact and automatic gas sampling system, ideal for emission and environmental measurements.

Most flow meter suppliers recommend 10 to 40 x pipe diameter straight length piping before the inlet. No obstructions allowed! The Vögtlin d·flux multi-parameter mass flow meters do not need this. Due to the built-in flow conditioner, you can build 2 elbows in 2 different places directly in front of the d·flux without influencing the accuracy. Modern flow meters and controllers are getting more flexible and with that, have more options to configure and select. The configuration needs to be in-situ – no removal or disconnection of the unit from its application to adjust – secure and intuitive. Our password protected access with an App on your phone and a Bluetooth® connection are ideal for this: no need for cables or a PC.
Flow ranges from 0-350 ln/min up to 1400 ln/min up to 14 bara and from -20 to +60°C. Advance communication, like Modbus, Profinet and EtherCAT, but also all common analog signals are available. You can download the free Vögtlin app for your phone or tablet and connect to the device via Bluetooth®. Program up to 15 different gases in 15 different profiles (pre-programmed applications). The d-flux is IP54, 316L and has BSPP 1" process connections.
The calibrations are conducted by an accredited lab and based on their traceability to national standards (EN 17025) provide maximum accuracy. Per flow-ring (open fan and rings A-E or 1-4), the calibration includes testing three values each in the lower, mid-level and upper flow-rate measuring range in a chamber test stand at a pressure differential of 50 Pa. The manufacturer recommends the calibration of BlowerDoor fans every four years.
