To support these OEMs in transitioning to high-voltage battery technology, Inventus Power utilized its expertise in motive power systems and leveraged its advanced modular architecture to develop a high-voltage platform, which we call our HV-24 Battery System.
The HV-24 System consists of HV-24V105 PROTRXion™ Li-ion Batteries (24V battery modules) and a HV-PDM-450 (Power Distribution Module). This system was designed for powering various applications from light to heavy duty cycles, such as utility vehicles and forklifts. With the ability to scale batteries up to 32 modules per HV-PDM-450, it supports voltage ranges from 25.6V to 450V.
The HV-24 Battery System is globally certified for safety and designed to meet severe requirements for both on-road and off-road applications. For enhanced safety, the battery system is designed to automotive safety standards (ISO26262) and includes HVIL (high-voltage interlock loop) for isolation protection.
With an integrated Master BMS (battery management system) in the HV-PDM-450, the power distribution module (PDM) is configurable to support a wide range of voltage and power configurations as required by the system. The battery modules include an optional heater allowing performance down to -35°C for extreme cold conditions to virtually allow this battery system to be used in any environment.
