Robust GMSL2 embedded system for AMR applications

The new embedded system series NRU-51V from ICP Germany is particularly suitable for applications in the mobile sector. A total of six systems, which are intended for applications such as industrial trucks, AMR and AGV or for use as sensor hubs, are available in different versions. Four models with NVIDIA® Jetson ORIN™ NX SoM, ARM Cortex CPU and NVIDIA® Ampere GPU as well as two models with XavierTM NX SoM, Carmel CPU and NVIDIA® Volta GPU are available with 4GB, 8GB and 16GB respectively. The models with ORIN SoM are supplied with 128Gb M.2 SSD as standard, while the Xavier models are equipped with 16Gb eMMC memory. Common to both is the robust housing with a size of 173x166x60mm as well as the extensive variety of interfaces. The NRU-51V offers a 10GbE and a GbE network interface, two USB 3.1, a micro USB with OTG function, a display port with 3840x2160 resolution at 60Hz and a serial RS-232/422/485 interface. Furthermore, especially for mobile use, an isolated CAN 2.0 interface, four GMSL2 camera interfaces with FAKRA Z connectors that support a full HD resolution at 30 frames per second, a GPS PPS input as well as three isolated digital inputs and four isolated digital outputs. For the expansion of 5G or 4G modules, for example, both models offer an M.2 3042/3052 with USB3.1 and USB2.0 signal and two SIM card slots, one of which is accessible in the front and one protected inside, as well as two mPCIE slots. With a temperature range of -25 °C to 60 °C or 70 °C depending on the operating mode and a voltage input of 8 VDC to 35 VDC, the NRU-51V can be used in a wide range of mobile vehicles.
