The "Speed 40-2" allows target markets such as electrical industry, beverage industry and others the labelling with the tampon printing process, with a production output which is unique in the market for tampon printing machines. The negative performance gap between tampon flat printing and tampon rotary printing with respect to item throughput is significantly decreased. Its performance: up to 9,000 cycles per hour in continuous operation. Production volume using the automated system presented at the Medtec 2012 is 36,000 items per hour with 4-fold item jig. And what's special is that the configuration with 2 ink/doctoring cups allows 2 colours to be used in one run, i.e. 18,000 items/h printed blue and 18.000 items/h printed red.
Highest printing accuracy, reproduction of even the finest contours, photo and line images is guaranteed.
Equipped with two ink/doctoring cups for image diameters of up to 38 mm and with a variable separation of 55-75 mm, the "Speed 40-2" short stroke tampon printing machine offers flexible application in automated systems. The energy costs are low in relation to the frequency (item throughput). No other tampon printing machine on the market offers these advantages.
