MBJ Services GmbH has presented the 2nd generation of the Mobile PV-Testcenter on last year's InterSolar exhibition in Munich. End of February this year, the certification for IEC 60904-9 done by TÜV Rheinland was accomplished.
The system was found to comply with Class A+/A/A+ as speciefied in their report. Class A+ is twice as good as class A requirements of test standard IEC60904-9 Edition 2.
Class A+ or Class A requirements are met for:
-Spectral match - Class A+
-Non-uniformity of irradiance - Class A
-Long-term temporal instability LTI - Class A+
The new Mobile PV-Testcenter 2.0 is the first system designed for mobile use having been certified to be better AAA according to IEC60904-9 Ed.2.
It combines the certified A+A A+ Long-Pulse LED solar simulator, an enhanced high-resolution electroluminescence system and an IR camera in one testing system. In addition a connection check, detailed testing of the bypass diodes and an optional HiPot and ground bound test is integrated.
Measuring panel parameters like in a stationary lab becomes now possible on site.
