These special hoses are designed to transport gaseous media over a certain distance while keeping temperature loss to a minimum. The materials used for the inner and the outer hose determine the properties of the thermal and insulating hose. Masterflex provides customised solutions made from different materials, all of which offer perfect insulation - no matter what customers may require.
Customers can choose from the following Master-Clip standard hoses suiting their particular application:
- hoses for heating, ventilation and welding fume extraction
- medium- and high-temperature hoses for up to +1.100 °C
- chemical hoses
- exhaust hoses
- vulcanised hoses for up to +250 °C
- static dissipative and conductive hoses
- abrasion-resistant hoses
Unlike fixed pipe systems, thermal and insulating hoses can be bent and may be even be highly flexible which allows them to reduce noise, vibrations and temperature loss to a minimum.
