The High Power Lighting series LQHP complements the product range of both Area Lights and Area Flood Lights. Its modular design as well as a wide range of accessories allow the adaption of the lighting to most diverse applications. In addition to the LQHP80 series with an 80 mm x 80 mm light area, the smaller LQHP40 and LQHP60 as well as the even more powerful LQXP versions are now also available.
The compact housing design of the LQHP80 corresponds to the IP64 protection class and therefore withstand demanding industrial environments. Thanks to its minimal construction height as well as the narrow mechanical frame, the 80 mm x 80 mm light area itself easily fits into even very limited installation surroundings. Mounting threads on the rear and all sides of the light frame, a highly flexible 3D-cable outlet and the LUMIMAX® M16-connection standard ensure a simplified system integration. Inside the new lighting series a high performance controller technology allows for either permanent, switch or flash operation modes.
The modular design enables the High Performance Lighting to be easily converted from homogeneous Area Light to powerful Area Flood Light.
With the help of the highly diffuse screen frame option (DL), the LQHP series can be used as homogeneous backlights with a luminance of up to 4.0 millions cd/m².
Alternatively, collimated screen frames (KOL) produce a particularly directed, almost telecentric light, e.g. to map object edges of opaque or (semi-)transparent test objects true to detail.
Reflected light applications (clear screen frame ALK) can be realised with an irradiance of more than 5.0 millions lx (16.000 W/m²). The LQHP Area Flood Lights are therefore predestined for code reading tasks as well as presence and position checks, in which extensive object fields have to be brightly illuminated even from greater distances. The radiation angle can be adapted to the size and distance of the test object by diverse lens kit options. The exchange of the lenses is easy and quick – as the lenses are already arranged on a pre-assembled lens array.
Some applications, for example in the logistics, food or automotive industries, require even higher light outputs for their reliable implementation in order to eliminate pseudo rejects due to the influence of extraneous light. With the new LQXP series, the brightness values of the LQHP series can be more than doubled thanks to the pre-assembled cooling element.
