With the acquisition of the Swedish company Safe Control Materialteknik i Göteborg AB (Safe Control) GBA Group is expanding its regional presence in Sweden. After successfully entering the pharmaceutical and medical device market there last year, Safe Control meaningfully complements the GBA Group's service portfolio in the area of environmental and material analysis. With this acquisition, the GBA Group is continuing its course of positioning itself in Scandinavia with a broad service portfolio.
Safe Control started out over 110 years ago as an operational laboratory at a Götaverken shipyard and is today one of Sweden's leading environmental and materials testing laboratories with a focus on analysis and testing of materials as well as environmental analysis of building materials, soil, air and water.
