The specialist in separation technology has therefore continued to record an upward trend. CFO Peter Frankfurter is very pleased with the final figures: "Although Flottweg has faced various difficulties, such as the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic and global supply shortages, we have managed to develop further within the framework of Strategy 2025. This positive development gives us a tailwind for 2022."

However, it is not only the sales figures that are showing an increase: With 900 employees at the Vilsbiburg site and 1157 employees worldwide, the employee figures show continuous growth. A Highlight and milestone: The opening of Plant 2
In 2021, a new chapter was also opened in Flottweg's nearly 100-year history: With the inauguration of Plant 2 in Vilsbiburg, the separation specialist has set the course for further growth. The new building now provides space for around 200 modern workplaces, and at the same time production capacity has doubled.
Dr. Kersten Link as new Spokesman of the Executive Board
In addition, 2021 ended with a significant change in personnel: Fritz Colesan retired after 35 years with the company. As his successor, Dr. Kersten Link completes the new dual leadership and will in the future be responsible for the areas of sales and technology as spokesman for the management board. "Flottweg is a future-oriented company with first-class products and outstanding employees. This provides us with a solid basis for further growth in 2022," explains Dr. Link.
