Because of numerous security concerns regarding the Network Operation Center (NOC) of RIM Mobile PKI provides a secure and transparent encryption of all communication without affecting the well-known usability of the BlackBerrys.
eperi - Mobile PKI allows the secure and efficient use of mobile devices in companies. All communication is automatically protected by the safe PKI standard algorithms (AES 256/RSA 1024).
eperi uses standard interfaces of the operating system to ensure the secure synchronization of sensitive messages, calendar entries and addresses without changing of workflows and applications. For the user this occurs completely transparent. Companies so do not have to use expensive archiving solutions for S/MIME encrypted emails.
The certificates and private keys on the mobile device are administrated by the Mobile PKI in a safe key store. By connecting the key store to the device ID and/or the SIM card, a 2 factor authentication may be realized – as safe as at use of Smartcards.
eperi enables an automatic (OTA) roll-out of software and certificates. Activated by the administrator, software and private keys are installed automatically. An existing PKI may be integrated and used further on.
