The IT service provider Arvato Systems is strengthening its strategic partnerships with rku.it and Schleupen in the smart metering business area. The three providers already support more than 200 utilities companies, especially around gateway administration. Arvato Systems does this with its proven "myBusiness Smart Energy" (MBSE) software, rku.it acts as a certified IT service provider, and Schleupen offers its certified ICT platform based on MBSE. Thus, about a quarter of the utilities in Germany with a rollout potential of more than five million smart metering systems are already served in this market environment.
By the complete rollout plan from the Act to Restart the Digitization of the Energy Transition, the customers who have already opted for the strong partnership alliance have a potential of more than five million metering points or devices to be installed by 2030. Since the interaction of the partners' systems has already been tested for many years, Arvato Systems and rku.it, or Schleupen, see themselves in the best possible position to win additional municipal utilities and energy providers as customers.
