In this interview, Heidi Dorner, who has been involved with MyNETZSCH since the project’s early stages and remains the platform’s key point of contact, discusses the portal’s development, its added value for customers and MyNETZSCH’s future direction. She acts as the point of contact between commerce cloud users, sales, IT, back-end systems and content management, bringing together business, technical and organisational requirements.
What was the original idea behind the portal?
MyNETZSCH was developed to provide our customers with digital services centrally and around the clock – regardless of business hours or availability. It focuses on two key functions: Accessing comprehensive product information and easily ordering spare parts. The idea was to bring everything needed for smooth system operation into a single digital location.
What specific value does MyNETZSCH offer customers in their day-to-day operations?
The value added becomes particularly apparent in day-to-day operations. Customers can check spare-part availability at any time, view individual prices and place orders directly, without waiting times or the need for further enquiries. At the same time, all relevant information on pumps, technical documents and ongoing business processes is available in one central location. This saves time and reduces the need for further enquiries.
