ATP Enhances Next Generation Industrial Grade Flash Memory Card Line With Two New Capacities

ATP®, a leading flash memory manufacturer in high quality, durable flash and DRAM memory modules, announced the release of two new increased SDHC/microSDHC product capacities. The (SLC) Industrial Grade Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) card includes a new increased density of 16GB, and the Industrial Grade microSDHC card includes an increased density of 8GB.

Both SDHC and microSDHC cards are manufactured specifically for robust industrial grade market applications, and the increased densities allow for more flexibility and scalability when determining memory capacity needs and requirements. ATP Industrial Grade SDHC/microSDHC cards are designed to operate under extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C, allowing for scenarios where mission-critical data requires the highest level of reliability, durability, and data integrity.

ATP industrial grade SDHC/microSDHC flash memory cards are used in a wide range of applications including industrial embedded systems, medical equipment, point-of-sales, gaming machines, automation devices, and portable computing.

ATP Industrial Grade SDHC/microSDHC cards are implemented with wear-leveling algorisms which manage and evenly distribute the write through of the flash memory. This results in maximized endurance limits and an increased usable lifetime in all sectors of the flash memory. All ATP Flash cards are manufactured with ATP's System in Package (SIP) process which encapsulates all of the exposed components and points of failure to protect against water, moisture, vibration/shock, electrostatic discharge and extreme temperatures. ATP Industrial Grade SDHC/microSDHC cards also offer flash wear feedback to the host device, allowing for user visibility into flash life status and controllable storage replacement before failure.

ATP Electronics supports in-house testing (endurance, signal integrity and protocol compatibility), and customized firmware tuning or firmware setting adjustments. All ATP Industrial Grade SD/SDHC cards are produced under stringent RoHS compliant manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance and are also compliant with SD card Association card specifications.
