Session 2 Time: 4:00 pm GMT Register Session 2
Speakers: Ute Schmidt
Our online demo series continues with an overview of RISE Microscopy for 2D Materials.
Due to their unique optical and electronic properties, two-dimensional (2D) materials have great potential for application in optoelectronic devices, sensors energy storage, catalysis and many more.
Diverse crystal properties such as the number of layers and growth defects influence the optical and electronic properties of the 2D materials. The aim of this tutorial is to show how RISE contributes to the analysis of 2D materials.
Learning Objectives:
• What is important for SEM imaging of 2D materials
• What do we learn from Raman spectra acquired from 2D materials
• How Raman data are evaluated – peak fitting
