MTG at the 29th International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV29) from 9 to 13 July 2023 at the Hilton Prague hotel

Together with its long-standing partner Sinus Messtechnik GmbH, MTG actively participated as exhibitor at the ICSV29 congress exhibition of noise and vibration control technologies, organised by the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration and the Society of Acoustic. MTG presented a wide range of acoustic measuring instruments to the international Expert audience, such as in- and outdoor measurement microphones, digital preamplifiers, acoustic calibrators or sound intensity probes.

SPEKTRA develops exciters for vibration tests up to megahertz frequencies

For testing and characterizing sensors based on MEMS technologies, sensor manufacturers and their customers require increasingly high-frequency mechanical exciters that can generate both translational and rotational vibrations. Whereas 10 years ago, frequencies between 20 kHz and 50 kHz were still sufficient, tests are now already being carried out at frequencies of several hundred kHz – and the requirements for the near future are moving into the megahertz range.

SPEKTRA CV-10 mobile calibration system – Extended range of function with the firmware update 1.4

The CV-10 has been the solution for on-site calibration of vibration sensors on machines and test benches for almost two years now. Right from the start, this compact device was designed as a kind of portable calibration system that can be easily adapted to new tasks by means of various interfaces and powerful hardware. With the firmware version 1.4 a number of new functions have now been implemented, which especially facilitate the calibration of sensors in the field of machine monitoring.
