New developments in the new release version of the universal Y.Multiplex X-ray system now make it possible to perform computed tomography for large parts too while taking advantage of state-of-the-art processes with Y.CT³. While doing so, the measurement cylinder relevant to CT can be enlarged both vertically and horizontally. This, in turn, enables the CT scanning of objects that are larger than the X-ray detector in one work step. Just like radioscopic images, in this system CT scans can be included into the programmed inspection so that any desired mixture of fluoroscopy and CT is possible. New functions check the long-term stability of image quality fully automatically in compliance with ASTM E2737-10, thus simplifying the auditing process for the application user.
YXLON is on hand at Booth 3218 in Hall 3 to inform visitors about all new developments using inspection items brought along especially for this purpose, including solutions individually tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
