Wick Hill is conducting live hacks on its stand, demonstrating the ease with which voice over IP, PBXs and IPCTV can be hacked. These hacks include the same type as those shown in the 'Oceans 11' film. Solutions to prevent such hacking will also be demonstrated.
Wick Hill is also showing a wide range of new and established security solutions from vendors such as WatchGuard, Check Point, LogLogic, Panasonic, Sipera and VIPRE Business.
These include WatchGuard's latest XTM software, which features powerful new ways to control security, including application control, an easy way to create and enforce acceptable use policies; Control Phreak, which prevents toll fraud, in conjunction with Panasonic's voice switch systems; LogLogic 5, with support for the recently launched VMware VCloud(TM) Director, which lets cloud computing users operate a secure, efficient IT infrastructure within a compliance framework; and Barracuda's NG firewall.
A number of recent additions to the Wick Hill portfolio from Check Point are on show, such as Abra, which provides a radical alternative to securing remote users, while cutting costs and simplifying administration; and R75, the latest version of Check Point's leading network security suite, which implements elements of the Check Point 3D-Security vision, which redefines security by combining policies, people and enforcement.
Wick Hill was recently appointed to distribute GFI VIPRE Antivirus Software and will be demonstrating the GFI VIPRE Business product line. A special feature is that the low impact, high performance technology won't slow down the user's PC. The innovative GFI VIPRE Business Lifetime product provides for a one-off charge to protect the user for the lifetime of the PC, with no annual renewal charge.
Wick Hill has recently expanded into the convergence arena and will be one of the few companies showing security solutions for converged networks. These include secure, converged voice/data solutions from Samsung and Panasonic; a range of security systems specifically aimed at converged networks from Sipera, including some new product announcements, smartphone security and SIP trunking security; plus Kaspersky Lab's smartphone security solution Mobile Security 9.
