The Royal Dutch Navy, an important NATO-related European Navy decided to use Weatherdocks' AIS SART personal emergency beacon easyRESCUE to increase the safety level aboard for all crewmen.
Integrated into automaitc life jackets the AIS transmitter will broadcast an AIS emergency message once the unit is activated automatically when the life jacket is submerged and inflated. The AIS emergency message can be received by every AIS equipped vessel in the vicinity of approx. 12 nautical miles. Of course also the mothership of the MOB crewmen will get this message and will be able to start rescue mission immediately.
It is not for the first time Weatherdock is awarded by a NATO Navy. There are a lot of European Rescue Organizations who decided to increase the safety level of their own crewmen aboard. At least there are International Authorities and Governments from all over the world who are working with safety and tracking devices from Weatherock.
