"The particular challenge of this small wind farm was to find a bank which was willing to handle such a small volume under the prevailing market conditions. After the failure of the first financing process we were grateful that the BOŚ Bank, with the dynamic support of the BOŚ Bank subsidiary BOŚ Eko-Profit, stepped into the breech at a late stage under considerable pressure of time and completed the process successfully with us," explained Dr. Till Jeske, CEO of vortex energy Holding AG.
The small wind farm will be connected to the Jóźwin 110kV transformer station, which vortex energy is erecting under contract to Future Energy Sp. z o.o. Together with the grid operator Energa Operator the target date for the infeed from all turbines has been set as the end of 2015. After the commissioning, vortex energy will take over the technical and commercial management as well as the commercial balancing including electricity sales for own energy consumption.
The project “Nieświastów” will increase vortex energy's installed wind capacity to a total of more than 340 MW. The eco-power thus generated of more than 990 GWh will supply annually a calculated 300,000 homes and with cut 525,038 tonnes of CO2.
