Twenty years ago, Dagmar Vogt, ib vogt’s founder and an industry pioneer, had an idea and passion for renewable energy at a time when the solar industry in Europe was in its infancy. The value and mission of developing photovoltaics (PV) as an important energy technology for the future – which we now term as “powering the energy transition” – was there from the beginning. The company started out designing, engineering, and managing the construction of state-of-the-art solar cell and thin film manufacturing facilities, becoming a market leader in the field.
In 2009, ib vogt shifted its focus to developing and building large-scale PV plants. In utility-scale PV and storage solutions, ib vogt has today become a leading global development platform and is growing its IPP business model, backed by a 20-year pedigree of capabilities, expertise, and experience.
ib vogt has established a strong track record over the last decade. With 2.9 GWp of power plants either built or in construction and having developed one of the largest solar PV project pipelines in the world at over 40 GWp, the company is focused on building a multi-GWp IPP portfolio over the coming years. As a rapidly growing, young, modern, and dynamic company with over 600 employees throughout the world, ib vogt is a leading contributor to the energy transition globally.
