Due to the rapidly increasing number of infections caused by the pandemic, LAPP has decided not to be present at this year's SPS. The specialist for connection technology will be represented with lectures at the accompanying digital trade fair programme and invites visitors to visit its virtual trade fair stand.
"We made the decision to withdraw our participation at short notice because of our responsibility towards our employees," says Matthias Lapp, CEO of U.I.Lapp GmbH. "We were all looking forward to getting back into personal exchange with customers and presenting our new products and innovative solutions at the fair. However, the development of the current infection figures speaks against a trade fair presence on site. The health of our employees is in focus, as well as that of our customers and visitors to the trade fair, which is why we follow the advice of the RKI not to participate in large events. We very much hope and wish to be on site at SPS 2022 next year as planned."
LAPP is also represented with three lectures in the digital accompanying programme of the SPS. In addition, customers and interested parties can find out about products and solutions for automation in various industries and navigate interactively through the world of connection technology at the virtual LAPP trade fair stand.
