TYPO3 has released TYPO3 v14 LTS, the latest long-term support version of its open-source enterprise content management system. As a flagship release and a major milestone in TYPO3’s evolution, TYPO3 v14 LTS introduces a redesigned and greatly enhanced backend user interface, complemented by innovative features, improvements, and modern technologies.
At the center of the release is a refreshed backend experience with a stronger focus on usability, and everyday editorial work. A new context panel keeps editors oriented while working on content and page properties, the navigation has been streamlined, and the interface has been refined across modules to create a more intuitive and more efficient experience from the start.
TYPO3 v14 LTS also introduces Camino, a ready-to-use default theme that helps integrators launch new websites more quickly. Delivered as an optional system extension and enabled by default for new installations, Camino provides a practical starting point for standardized websites within TYPO3’s own architecture.
With dedicated backend modules for QR codes and short URLs, TYPO3 now brings common marketing and campaign tasks directly into the system. Combined with major enhancements to the Form Framework, a guided translation workflow, and numerous technical improvements under the hood, TYPO3 v14 LTS delivers meaningful progress for editors, integrators, and developers alike.
As a long-term support release, TYPO3 v14 LTS will receive bug fixes until 31 December 2027 and security updates until 30 June 2029.
