The 47G Series are GigE Vision compliant, with robust data transmission over cable lengths of up to 100 meters, optional Power over Ethernet (PoE), and options for C-mount or S-mount optics.
A range of Sony and onsemi CMOS sensors are planned for the new GigE series. Currently supported are the Sony IMX900 (3.2 MP, global shutter) and onsemi AR0521 (5 MP, rolling shutter) sensors.
Two additional sensor models, Sony IMX568 (5.1 MP, global shutter) and onsemi AR2020 (20 MP, rolling shutter), are expected to be released as prototypes at the end of June and will be available in limited quantities for selected customers and partners, with series production scheduled for September 2025.
“With the 47G Series, we’re giving customers an innovative, flexible and future-proof GigE board-level platform that’s easy to integrate and ready for a wide range of automation and industrial applications,” said Momchil Binev, Senior Product Manager at The Imaging Source.
