How and when did DDPS implement target Idea Management?
The technical implementation of the new tool began in November 2014 and was formally rolled out at DDPS in February 2015. The new solution has proven itself an extraordinarily stable IT software that supports the transformation of innovation management at DDPS. As part of the information management process, “old” ideas from the legacy system were transferred to the new one, so it could still be used as a knowledge repository. From a Controlling perspective, existing ideas can still be taken into account during the idea management process.
What were the major changes?
The existing IT software was software was not only technically outdated but it also did not meet the requirements of today’s innovation management.
