TAMPOPRINT® AG is a medium-sized, globally renowned high-tech company and for almost fifty years has provided a range of decorative and marking technologies. In 1968 the industrial tampon printing process was invented by the owner Wilfried Philipp and the opportunities in the field of tampon printing have been subject to constant development. In 1993 Wilfried Philipp had the innovative idea to produce tampon printing clichés using laser technology and in the same year we started with the construction of an ALFALAS® laser line (since 2000 - "CTP" concept; since 2008 Hybrid 90-2 integrated) for the production of tampon printing clichés. The ALFALAS® product group allows in the meantime the direct inscribing and marking of many different materials, whether as a standalone workplace or as a fully automated system. The ALFALAS® product portfolio comprises system components for the integration into automation lines as well as laser systems such as our universal Workstation "WSE-07" for the marking of plastics and metals, our compact benchtop model Workstation "WST" for small series, our Workstation "WSM" for all kinds of markings and engravings as well as our smallest benchtop laser line "CT" for the manufacturing of tampon printing clichés. Our first "MOF-PROMO" ALFALAS® laser for the inside marking of plastic bottle caps was brought to the market for the first time in 2003; in the meantime we have delivered the fiftieth line. We supply our lasers with the software tp_alfa® which was developed by TAMPOPRINT® as well as with other special softwares.
