E-mobility is promoted, raw materials are needed

(PresseBox) (Herisau, )
Governments around the world care about climate change and the e-car industry.

In the USA, U.S. President Biden has introduced the Inflation Reduction Act to help climate protection policy get back on its feet. This law also includes the promotion of e-mobility. Tax credits for the purchase of an e-vehicle are intended to increase the number of electric vehicles. In the process, U.S. manufacturers must source a certain percentage of the materials for battery production from the U.S. or from countries linked by a free trade agreement. Since the U.S. still lacks sufficient raw materials for this, Canada, Chile or Australia are likely to step in. Metals such as copper or lithium should benefit in terms of price, as should the companies that own the raw materials in demand.

Companies such as Li-Metal - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIUq75ZIZmU -, which are involved in battery technology, are also important. Li-Metal develops lithium metal anodes and thus batteries of the next generation.

Things are also happening here in Germany. In connection with Chancellor Scholz's visit to Canada, agreements were concluded to open the way for German automakers to Canadian raw materials for batteries. In addition to lithium, electric vehicles also need cobalt, nickel and significantly more copper than conventional vehicles.

For example, in addition to gold, the Canadian company GoldMining - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zzZJaWEMa0 - has copper in its projects. These are located in North and South America. Since the formation of Gold Royalty, GoldMining also owns a large equity stake in the royalty company. Canada is mining-friendly, well-positioned in sustainable mining, and can provide clean and ethical feedstock for electric vehicles around the world. By the way, everything in the U.S. is looking to California, because they are already very far along in future technologies. When it comes to electric vehicles, the world's tenth-largest economy is virtually the center of global change.
