The PaintExpo International Trade Fair for Industrial Coating Technology is to be held in October 2006 at the same time as the 3rd SURFACTS International Trade Fair for Surface Treatment. The Karlsruhe Exhibition Centre will therefore play host to a presentation and communication platform for surface treatment unparalleled anywhere in Germany. Exhibitors and visitors will also be able to take advantage of the INTERPART International Suppliers Trade Fair, which is to be held at the same time. INTERPART focuses on the automotive industry as well as mechanical and construction engineering – industries in which surface treatment is becoming increasingly important.
The Karlsruhe Exhibition Centre will be the location for the surface treatment sector from 2006 on. With the SURFACTS and PaintExpo trade fairs, it offers a complete overview of all aspects of surface treatment - something which no other site in Germany can equal. The PaintExpo International Trade Fair for Industrial Coating Technology is aimed specifically at in-house coating companies and commercial operations - with exhibitors showing machines, systems, materials, accessories and services for the entire process chain of wet coating, powder coating and coil coating applications. These topics used to be covered by PaintTech, which will now no longer take place. The last PaintTech welcomed over 260 exhibitors and around 5,400 visitors.
The SURFACTS exhibition portfolio includes machines, systems, materials, service providers and accessories for all other important processes in surface treatment, including electroplating, mechanical, chemical and thermal surface treatment, thin layer technology, nano technology and PCB technology. Just like in 2005, the Central Association of Surface Treatment (Zentralverband Oberflächentechnik e.V.) will be represented again on a shared stand at the 3rd SURFACTS.
INTERPART, the international suppliers' trade fair for the automotive industry as well as mechanical and construction engineering, is being held at the same time - offering further considerable synergy effects. This trade fair has enjoyed significant two-digit growth rates among both exhibitors and visitors in recent years, and expects to welcome around 450 exhibitors in 2006.
