A Redesigned Housing Concept for Greater Flexibility
As part of the product family update, different mounting options have been integrated into a single housing concept. Clip mounting and screw mounting are now combined in one product. An integrated release mechanism simplifies locking and unlocking on the DIN rail. Users can select the preferred mounting method without having to choose between different product variants.
The new generation also features push-in terminals for fast and convenient wiring. The redesigned housing supports simple installation and, depending on the mounting method, tool-free assembly. This helps reduce installation effort throughout the entire product life cycle.
Fewer Variants and Simpler Processes
The reduced product portfolio simplifies product selection and supports the standardization of machines and industrial equipment. Design engineers benefit from a clearer product range, while purchasing and inventory management are streamlined through fewer part numbers. Administrative effort and spare parts management are also reduced.
The product family includes 250 W and 400 W versions for both 120 V and 230 V applications. The CSL 028 is also available in versions with separate control of the heater and fan. The CSF 028 additionally features an integrated fixed thermostat with preset switching temperatures of 15 °C or 25 °C.
Proven Technology as the Foundation
The current product generation continues to rely on STEGO's proven PTC heating technology. The self-regulating PTC heating element provides fast thermal response and reliable operation. The touch-safe design protects users against hot surfaces during operation.
Conclusion
With the latest generation of the CSL 028 and CSF 028 product family, STEGO has successfully simplified an established range of enclosure heaters with fan while increasing flexibility for users. Fewer variants, integrated mounting options and simplified installation support more efficient engineering, purchasing and assembly processes.
