Softing Industrial Releases dataFEED OPC Suite 5.40 with Expanded Connectivity Features

Softing Industrial presents the latest version 5.40 of the dataFEED OPC Suite which offers significant enhancements to optimize industrial data integration. New features include support for Siemens SINUMERIK ONE, and integration with the MPDV Manufacturing Integration Platform (MIP).

The new functions at a glance:

• SINUMERIK ONE support:
  dataFEED OPC Suite 5.40 now supports Siemens SINUMERIK ONE (starting with V6.21) and SINUMERIK 840D Powerline (starting with V5.3). This allows direct integration of process values from CNC controllers into OPC applications. In addition to accessing Numerical Control Kernel (NCK) data, the suite connects to the integrated SIMATIC S7 PLC. This enables efficient program monitoring and easy commissioning using predefined symbol files.
• MPDV MIP integration:
  Support for the MPDV Manufacturing Integration Platform (MIP) from MPDV Mikrolab GmbH opens up new possibilities for the integration of industrial IT applications. Companies can seamlessly integrate machine data into the MIP environment and link it with various manufacturing apps (mApps). This reduces integration efforts and creates a flexible, vendor-independent solution for digital manufacturing.
