Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ: SWIR) (TSX: SW) and Sprint (NYSE:S) today announced they are collaborating to help application developers, product manufacturers, and machine-to-machine (M2M) service providers get new solutions up and running on the Nationwide Sprint Network more quickly and cost-effectively. The two companies will co-market the Sierra Wireless AirVantage™ M2M Cloud Platform. Sprint M2M partners and customers can use the AirVantage cloud platform to develop, deploy, and manage all aspects of their M2M applications, including the operation of the communications device and connected products or machines.

Through this collaboration with Sierra Wireless, Sprint is able to help its customers realize a return on investment faster, by providing the M2M infrastructure, application development and deployment features customers have to create on their own today.
