The network inventory software integrates many new functions to vastly increase its usability. The update supports both Microsoft SQL Editions as also Oracle 12c. A new role-based concept allows control of a per-site access for analyzing the hardware and software assets. The download package of version 6.2 now contains a preconfigured MS SQL Server Express database. Additionally, even Oracle (12c) databases will be supported without the need to extra install driver software on the client. Rights assignment for user roles
In companies with distributed sites, the new role-based access control allows targeted assignments of user rights to the analyses tree so that every branch office can manage the information only from its own site. New report generator
