The automotive supplier has received the so-called “Project Contribution Award” from AISIN AW. Schaeffler supplies double turbine dampers with centrifugal pendulum-type absorber for the new AISIN AW 8-speed transmission and received the award for the outstanding collaboration and support during the volume production startup of the transmission in Japan.

The team has made an important contribution to successfully implementing future projects at Aisin. “We regard this as a gesture of enormous appreciation and as proof of our excellent technological and manufacturing expertise”, said Bührle.
