BitDefender software specialist for internet security continues to be on the road of success with the new product generation. For the new antivirus solution Internet Security v10 BitDefender now receives the internationally desirable “ProtectStar Excellent Security 2006“ award. The testers were especially impressed by the high performance and the excellent price offering of this security solution.
After being awarded by „Virus Bulletin“ and the „Best Buy“ award - of „PC Magazin“ this is already the third recommendation within a couple of weeks.
The internationally recognized and established ProtectStar-Testcenter (www.protectstar.com) awarded the security solution "BitDefender Internet Security v10" with the "ProtectStar Excellent Security 2006" award for outstanding results of virus detection, performance and pricing. The BitDefender security suite showed a convincing performance not only under laboratory conditions as well as under real world conditions.
What has been especially emphasised was the number of integrated security modules, the high detection rate of 99,27 % (ITW: 100 %) and the excellent detection of the antivirus and antispyware scanner. Also worth mentioning was that the antivirus scan of BitDefender is one of the few antivirus scanner within the IT security market which does not have any difficulties with Zip of Death“ archives.
