This two-day seminar on EU funding opportunities in security research will provide you with all the information you need about Horizon 2020, relevant tendering procedures and procurement processes. You will gain insight in the different funding instruments available, the content of ongoing calls and the criteria used to evaluate project proposals. Organised by Brussels’ leading security and defence platform and Germanys’ leading newspaper for public services, the seminar brings together EU officials, experienced researchers and experts from the private sector who will outline the different instruments and give you concrete guidelines for the application process. Sessions will include presentations on the Defence Package 2009, the H2020 work programme on Secure Societies 2014-2015 and funding mechanisms for SMEs. Das zweitägige Seminar „Eu funding opportunities in security research“ vermittelt den Teilnehmern umfassende Informationen zum Forschungsrahmenprogramm Horizont 2020, der konkreten Antragsstellung sowie darüber hinausgehender Beschaffungsprozesse im Bereich Sicherheitsforschung. Neben dem Forschungsrahmenprogramm werden insbesondere die Förderinstrumente für KMUs und das Defence Package von 2009 beleuchtet. Dadurch erhalten die Teilnehmer einen Einblick in verschiedene Förderinstrumente der Europäischen Union, den konkreten Inhalt aktueller Ausschreibungen und der relevanten Kriterien zur Evaluation von Projektanträgen.
