The two Transmission System Operators of the Iberian Peninsula, ENAGÁS and REN Gasodutos, signed in February 2015 the Association Agreement and Service Contract for using the services of PRISMA platform and for being active members in all the activities of the company.
Rui Marmota, Director of Gas System Planning and Dispatching in REN Gasodutos commented: "REN started using the functionalities of PRISMA at the beginning of 2014. During this year we discussed with ENAGÁS and PRISMA's shareholders possible ways for cooperating together in the following years. The signing of this Service Contract with PRISMA represents the results of the activities done together and the willingness of PRISMA's shareholders to involve all the European Transmission Operators in PRISMA."
Francisco de la Flor, Director of Regulation in ENAGÁS, remarked: "The signature of the Service Contract with PRISMA is the result of a fruitful cooperation with the colleagues of all the TSOs involved in PRISMA and PRISMA's representatives".
Götz Lincke, Managing Director of PRISMA European Capacity Platform, welcomed the decision taken by these two major European Transmission System Operators and commented "Having ENAGÁS and REN involved in all PRISMA's activities will bring the knowledge and competence of the South-West European gas markets that was currently missing. I strongly believe that ENAGÁS and REN will support PRISMA's position as the most relevant capacity platform in Europe and further support the integration of European gas markets".
