Halle 6 / Stand 6B57
At LogiMAT 2026, Panotec will showcase its on-demand packaging technologies with a Virtual Reality experience built around real operational layouts from e-commerce and logistics environments. Visitors can explore OPERA and OPERETTA at Halle 6 / Stand 6B57, discovering how different packaging strategies respond to different products, volumes and workflows. In automated e-commerce logistics, packaging efficiency is not about a single machine, but about how technology adapts to variable orders, SKUs, picking and sorting logic. Panotec has developed two complementary solutions, OPERA and OPERETTA, designed to address these challenges with different approaches, while pursuing the same goal: reducing waste, lowering costs and increasing productivity.
OPERA – High-speed “Box Last” packaging for e-commerce logistics
OPERA is Panotec’s fully automated Box Last solution, designed for high-volume logistics and ecommerce operations. The system creates the shipping box after the order has been prepared, detecting the actual dimensions of the products in real time and producing a perfectly sized box around the product in a matter of seconds.
For fast-paced logistics environments, OPERA allows companies to significantly reduce packaging time, eliminate human error in the packaging process and optimise volumetric weight in shipping. This makes OPERA particularly suitable for multi-item orders, intensive workflows and seasonal peaks such as Black Friday or sales periods.
The patented OPERA box is designed to be customised, reusable and protective, with a reinforced structure, double-layer cardboard, an easy-to-open closure for returns, and a design that reduces material waste by converting excess cardboard into internal protection.
OPERETTA – “Box First” packaging for fragile and multi-item orders
OPERETTA is designed for operations handling fragile, unstable or highly variable orders. Based on a Box First approach, the system produces an open and erected, ready-to-fill custom box.
Compared to traditional case erectors, OPERETTA offers greater flexibility and protection, especially when dealing with mixed SKUs and delicate products. By producing boxes internally, companies can reduce dependence on standard packaging inventories, simplify warehouse management and maintain consistent packaging performance even with changing order configurations. Integration with WMS and existing workflows makes OPERETTA a suitable solution for structured e-commerce operations and logistics providers seeking adaptability and sustainability.
A Virtual Reality experience based on real customer layouts
At the Panotec booth, the Virtual Reality experience goes beyond a generic product demonstration. Visitors can explore digital reconstructions of packaging layouts inspired by Panotec’s long-standing customers, representing very different operational scenarios, picking strategies and sorting systems.
Through VR, companies can observe how OPERA and OPERETTA fit into diverse logistics flows, compare automation approaches and better understand how on-demand packaging solutions can be adapted to their own warehouse environment.
The Panotec team will be available at Halle 6 / Stand 6B57 throughout LogiMAT 2026 to discuss applications, workflows and integration scenarios.
