Nordeon, a provider of innovative and energy-efficient lighting solutions developed the new LED light line system Baldur at the site in Springe, Germany. Since April 2014, directly after presentation at the Light + Building fair, the light line system Baldur is on the market and scores with impressive highlights.

Since 1974 high quality light line systems are developed and produced very successfully in Springe, Germany. It started with AEG branded Gealux, world's first light line system and was succeeded during the Philips ownership of the site. Baldur follows this tradition and creates a new benchmark for LED light line systems.

By introducing lighting solutions designed for 2 years payback as Baldur, we provide large energy savings, less maintenance, better lighting and at the same time we create sustainability. Baldur provides the full flexibility to place and easily adjust general lighting, spot lighting, emergency lighting, and lighting control units at any position. Baldur's modular lighting concept is also available as a recessed version to complete the large range of flexible lighting options. The LED light line system also has a wide range of optimized light flux per application, as well as a variety of wiring options and distances between connector blocks, which saves costs though avoidance of over specification. In addition Baldur offers an attractive aesthetical design for both general and accent lighting. Its aesthetic fit between the trunking rail and the spots, due to the balanced dimensions, and a LED driver that remains hidden inside the rail, makes this possible.
