Low-voltage PowerMOSFETs in TO-252ZP package

Thanks to improved electrical characteristics, ideally suited for automotive applications

(PresseBox) (Stutensee (Germany), ) Gleichmann Electronics expands its product portfolio with seven new PowerMOSFETs in TO-252ZP package. These new devices feature electrical characteristics that previously were provided only by the considerably larger low-voltage PowerMOSFETs in D2PAK (TO 263) package.

These devices (part numbers: NP90N03VUG, NP90N04VUG, NP90N055VUG, NP90N04VDG and NP90N04VLG, NP90N055VDG, NP90N06VLG), designed by NEC Electronics, enable current switching of up to 90 A with breakdown voltages of 30 V, 40 V, 50 V or 60 V and an on-resistance RDS(on) between 3.2 m? and 7.8 m?.

Furthermore, like all members of the NP Series, the new devices are AEC-Q101 qualified, support a channel temperature up to 175°C and are fully RoHS-compliant thanks to tin-plated leads.

Samples and data sheets of the seven new PowerMOSFETs are available now from Gleichmann Electronics. Three of these devices - part numbers: NP90N03VUG, NP90N04VUG and NP90N055VUG - are already available in volume production quantities.

MSC Technologies GmbH

Founded in 1979, Gleichmann & Co. Electronics GmbH, in the same company group with MSC Vertriebs GmbH, has established itself as one of the leading pan-European distributors of electronic assemblies and components. One of the reasons for the high acceptance by customers and suppliers is the company's early focus on comparatively few, highly sophisticated products such as microcontrollers, programmable logic devices, displays and customer specific power supplies. From this, the resulting in-depth technical know-how of our sales engineers and field application engineers today enables us, if required by the customer, even implementation of complete new designs right up to the finished product. With two of its own ASIC design centers, the Gleichmann research laboratory in Austria and one of the largest and most modern programming centers in Europe, Gleichmann Electronics takes a leading role in terms of service and customer support.
