MPDV once again awarded Top 10 MES Solution Provider

For more than 40 years, MPDV has been supporting manufacturing companies on their way to the Smart Factory and setting new standards with its innovative solutions. The American magazine Manufacturing Technology Insights has once again awarded MPDV as the "Top 10 MES Solution Provider - 2019". The experts in production digitization already received this award in 2018. "This is proof of the outstanding quality of our products and services", says Stefan Loelkes, Chief Sales Officer MPDV USA, Chicago.

MPDV's modular Manufacturing Execution System (MES) HYDRA provides a wide range of functions and meets the requirements of the international standard IEC 62264 for manufacturing IT. You can combine the different HYDRA applications based on a central MES database according to your re-quirements and without interfaces. As a result, HYDRA provides a 360-degree view of all the re-sources used in production. HYDRA integrates into existing IT landscapes and serves as a link be-tween the shop floor and the management level. Using HYDRA, manufacturing companies remain re-sponsive and safeguard their competitiveness, even with regard to Industry 4.0.

Growth, growth, growth

The family-owned enterprise employs more than 480 people at thirteen locations worldwide in Ger-many, China, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Switzerland, Singapore and the USA. In 2018, the American MPDV subsidiary, based in Orland Park, IL, celebrated its 10th anniversary as the leading provider of MES solutions in North America. MPDV's customers in the USA include automotive suppliers such as Allgaier, manufacturers of connectivity and sensor solutions like TE Connectivity and gambling ma-chine manufacturers. The MPDV team has already implemented more than 110 HYDRA installations in the USA. Over the past three years, turnover has quadrupled. The increase was achieved by a tar-geted marketing campaign of the MES HYDRA by the local consulting, implementation and support team.
