MID Nominated for Major Medium‐Sized Business Prize
MID in the Runnings for the Award for Medium‐Sized Companies for the Second Time
MID qualified for the competition for medium‐sized businesses not only due to its economic success but also for its complex culture of innovation, high‐level of service competence and active customer focus. MID was also assessed on job creation for both employees and students and how it gives back to the community.
"The fact that MID has been nominated for this major medium‐sized business prize and made it through to the final affirms our being in it for the long‐run; we are not merely focused on economic achievements" explains MID managing director, Jürgen Leuschel.
The Oskar Patzelt foundation's annual award for the best medium‐sized companies has developed into the most important German competition for medium‐sized companies since it was first established in 1995. More than 1,400 local authorities, institutions and unions nominated 3,589 companies in 2012. A company cannot nominate itself for the award but must be nominated.
