This involves assigning tags (keywords) to a website as a way of identifying and describing it. Since users will enter a variety of tags, rigid, hierarchical categorization becomes a thing of the past. Visitors to news4mobile see a ranking of the tags, an alphabetical listing, and a “tag cloud”, which depicts the 100 most common terms, with each term's font size reflecting its relative popularity.
