Stefan Neumair is thus replacing Jean-Pierre Durand, the long-standing Managing Director. Durand is retiring from the Group’s management for reasons of age; he will continue to serve the French trading firm for optical components and systems as consultant.

With Stefan Neumair, LASER 2000 France has placed an experienced and successful Managing Director in the lead, who has been managing the business of the German affiliate extremely successful for 14 years. The continuous stable growth and financial security of LASER 2000 on the French market is thus guaranteed.
At the same time, Dr. Andreas Hornsteiner, who has been successfully responsible for the network and LWL division at LASER 2000 Germany since 1997, is appointed Divisional Manager of Sales and Marketing in France. Marketing activities will, in future, be planned and implemented mutually. LASER 2000 Germany is pleased about this new task, and the possibility to actively support the European partnership idea.
