Max Holder GmbH presents its new entry-level model, the Holder X 45, at the GaLaBau in Nuremberg. With the completely redeveloped articulated vehicle, the Germany-based full-liner confirms its claim to offer municipalities, service providers and industry a system vehicle in every performance class that can be used all year round for the toughest requirements.
As successor to the Holder X 30, the Holder X 45 brings an ambitious range of functionality and numerous innovations to the 45 HP class. One of the key features includes the choice of engine. The X 45 is not only available with a diesel engine but also with a petrol engine, whereby Holder already now provides an efficient and strong response to the problem of particulate matter in many cities. The two high torque units deliver 42 (diesel) or 44 HP (petrol) and are designed for high performance at low rotation speeds. A maximum speed of 27 km/h makes the X 45 the fastest machine in the segment. Another superb feature worth mentioning is the carrying capacity. Up to 1025 kg payload and 2300 kg total permissible weight represent the top in this class. Thanks to a permanent all-wheel drive and a very low centre of gravity, the Holder X 45 safely brings its power to the road any time.
The intelligent dynamic drive control enables automatic control of the drive pump in relation to load and speed, thus guaranteeing ideal traction irrespective of the incline. The core applications (sweeping, mowing, irrigation and winter maintenance) can be easily selected via a programme switch. Depending on the application, this automatically ensures demand-driven hydraulic power and provides excellent work results. With two independently controllable hydraulic circuits (20 + 58 l/min), the Holder X 45 has a very high hydraulic output.
The engineers put particular importance to the design and equipment of the driver's cab. It is not only the most spacious cab in its class, but also sets standards in terms of comfort and user friendliness. Some of the key features include an adjustable multifunction armrest at the air-suspended driver's seat, a large Holder joystick for comfortable one-handed operation, exits to the right and left, sliding windows, as well as effective sound insulation. Numerous optional comfort and safety equipment creates possibilities for customisation, e.g. a camera system combined of rear and suction nozzle camera.
