Last year, as part of the plan set down in our Climate Strategy 2030, we achieved carbon neutrality across all Knorr-Bremse sites, and we’re also on track to halve our carbon emissions by 2030. In this year’s EcoVadis rating, we further improved our environment-related scores. The fact that we were again awarded Gold status is an important indication that our sustainability initiatives are making excellent progress. And of course we continue to further enhance our activities in this area in close consultation with our stakeholders.”
EcoVadis is regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious providers of corporate sustainability ratings. Every year, the EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment closely scrutinizes companies’ sustainability performance in multiple categories, including environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The assessment is based on information gathered from over 2,500 publicly available sources.
