JTAG Technologies has been selected as a finalist for EDN Magazine's prestigious Innovation Award for its revolutionary ProVision development tool suite. This award recognizes unique, state-of-the-art electronics products in Design for Test and several other categories.
Since its introduction three years ago, JTAG ProVision has captured the leading position among boundary-scan application development tools. Through a series of regular enhancements since the initial release, ProVision now encompasses all aspects of the development process for boundary-scan testing and in-system programming of PLDs and flash memories.
One of ProVision's landmark achievements is the marriage of ease-of-use and versatility, offering a high degree of control and precision demanded by engineers. Whilst The software is easy to learn and easy to apply, even by occasional users, ProVision allows advanced users to dig deeply into their designs by means of comprehensive cross-referencing and navigation features. A close integration with JTAG Visualizer also allows users to view JTAG-oriented files such as fault reports or test coverage, superimposed onto the schematic or layout of the PCB.
