Experts from leading OEMs, such as Daimler AG, Ford, THINK and Lotus Engineering, will present new technologies, developments, and case studies in the electric vehicle market today.
Congress day one, Monday 4 December, will focus on the commercialisation of electric vehicles, powertrain optimisation, energy saving potential, and charging & infrastructure, and will also feature an onsite exhibit of BMW Group’s Project i, the Megacity Vehicle, due for release in 2013. Afterwards, an evening panel discussion will offer conference delegates the chance to take part in discussions on electric vehicles’ charging infrastructure and technology.
On day two of the congress, the focus will be on energy storage solutions, battery testing, and climate control in electric vehicles. Speakers from Siemens AG, Axeon Power Ltd, MAGNA E-Car Systems GmbH & Co. OG and GM Europe Engineering will take the floor to discuss the challenges currently facing electric vehicle development.
During the interactive workshop day on Wednesday, 6 December, delegates are encouraged to examine more in-depth the topics presented in the preceding two congress days, including thermoelectricity, different powertrains for different applications, and combustion engines as enablers for e-mobility.
