As part of the integration of iiM GmbH into Exaktera LLC ("Exaktera"), a portfolio company of Union Park Capital, new strategic opportunities have emerged for the company and particularly for its executive leadership. In this context, the management structure of iiM GmbH has been reorganized.
Axel Müller has stepped down from his management role for personal reasons and will refocus on customer engagement for the LUMIMAX® brand. In his new position as Key Account Relationship Manager, he will serve as the primary point of contact for a selection of key customers, leveraging his extensive experience to further strengthen trusted partnerships.
Peter Anacker has also transitioned out of his executive role to dedicate himself more fully to software development. He will continue to support iiM GmbH with strategic software-related decisions for the VisioCablePro® brand and, together with his team, will drive the development of a scalable, reliable, and maintainable software architecture.
Heiko Freund will remain in a key leadership position as Site Leader and Managing Director of iiM GmbH. He will act as the main point of contact for employees and will be responsible for developing and implementing a long-term site strategy in close coordination with Exaktera's executive leadership.
Following the acquisition by Exaktera, Thomas Buschmann has been appointed as an additional Managing Director of iiM GmbH. In addition to his current responsibilities as Managing Director of Z-Laser GmbH in Freiburg and as COO & President Europe of Exaktera, he will now actively support the executive management at iiM GmbH.
With this reorganization, iiM GmbH strengthens its strategic and operational positioning within the Exaktera group while simultaneously paving the way for further technological advancement and deeper customer engagement.
