ICP Germany offers a new Panel PC especially for use in the medical environment. The housing is anti-bacterial, offers an IP65 front protection and a rear with IP32 protection. Cleaning and disinfection is easy to perform due to the design of the flat front panel and the housing. The fanless operation prevents unnecessary air turbulence and enables low-maintenance operation. The POC-W24C offers sufficient space for image content due to its 24" display size and 1920x1080 resolution. The projected-capacitive touch allows interaction with the application software. The touch is optimized for the use of multilayer gloves and the detection of splash water and water drops. A passively cooled version with Intel® mobile ULT Core™ i7-6600U, i5-6300U or Celeron® 3855U is offered. The POC-W24C is equipped with 4GB DDR4 RAM as standard and can be extended up to 32GB. A 2.5" SATA drive bay and a Mini-PCIe mSATA interface are available for storage media. Furthermore, the Panel PC offers two GbE network interfaces, an HDMI display connection, an RS-232/422/485, four USB 3.0 and four USB2.0 as well as an RJ11 connection for a 1D/2D barcode scanner. The POC-W24C is suitable for use in medical environments as it complies with EN60601-1.

A 5 megapixel webcam with auto-focus and digital microphone and two 3 Watt speakers offer further interaction possibilities with the user. WLAN functionality and Bluetooth complete the features for the use of additional peripherals. Accessories include the USB VoIP phone with holder, magnetic card reader, Mifare RFID reader, TPM module, handles with or without barcode reader and a reading light. On customer request ICP assembles the POC-W24C with the desired operating system and suitable industrial components.
